Is anyone else really annoyed at Naomi. Seriously, Sam is your ex. You no longer have claim on him. It is not wrong or selfish for Addison to be with him. The reason she didn't tell you was because she knew how you would react. She knew you were going to overreact, and you did not prove her wrong.

I understand your reaction in one sense. You cannot help your emotions. You can, though, help how you deal with them. And lashing out at Addison or letting her know your feelings, especially the way you did, is just not okay. She did nothing wrong, so while you can't help being angry, you need to stop taking it out on her. Especially considering you aren't blaming Sam at all or getting angry at him.

Gah, anyways, I just needed to express my annoyance, and I found this community while looking for somewhere to express it. We really need a community like the Grey's one where we discuss episodes and stuff.

I'm a little annoyed with her too. I can see why she'd be upset, and I'm glad that Addison worried both about doing this at all, and about telling her.

What I'm not okay with is saying last week that she's fine with it, and then just lashing out at her this week when Addison thought they were fine. The Addison/Naomi friendship is by far my favourite thing about this show, but they haven't actually been friends for most of these 3+ seasons, and I'm sick of it.

On a side note: did anyone else think there was some pretty bad writing tonight, especially in the last scene with Pete and his friend? I don't know what it was, but it just seemed very mechanical to me. I love the characters on this show, and I even love a lot of their storylines, but I definitely think Grey's has better writing at the level of dialogue.

Yo me it feels like the shows have been flipping. Last year I liked Private Practice worlds more than Grey's, and I'm liking Grey's a lot more this year, so far.

I totally agree. About the only thing I like so far this season is Addison/Sam. I like the relationship, and I think she deserves a chance to be happy. The writing has been kind of sub par, though. Last year on Gray's was the same way, but I'm totally loving this season (especially Owen/Christina and Christina's PTSD).

Wierdly enough, I actually started watching PP first. I got into Grey's in season 5 through the crossover episodes.

I was thinking the exact same thing today! I especially loved the episodes around when she and Sam first became close, and when her parents showed up. She had to do some amazing acting those weeks.

That being said, even when PP is at its best, it still falls a little short for me, because Addison never truly gets to be happy. Even when something's working out really well for her, there's always something else hanging over her head. And I want them to revisit the baby issue with her.
